Having just played yesterday, the El Camino Wildcats will jump right back in to play the O'Farrell Charter Falcons at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. El Camino is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
It was a proper cat-fight when El Camino faced off against Valley Center on Friday. The Wildcats fell 55-50 to the Jaguars. While the Wildcats didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Jaguars 17-10 in the first quarter.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Jalani Hadnot, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted nine or more boards the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Vanessa McFerran, who posted 14 points and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, O'Farrell Charter made easy work of San Diego Academy on Tuesday and carried off a 38-14 win. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now won three in a row.
El Camino better focus on containing Rusom Liona and Ty'Reiona Washington as the pair were huge in O'Farrell Charter's win. Liona almost dropped a double-double with nine boards and ten steals, while Washington shot 50% from the field on her way to 18 points. Thanks to that strong game, Washington now owns an excellent 46.3% field goal percentage. The team also got some help courtesy of Bazzo Iilaria, who had five points.
O'Farrell Charter was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
El Camino now has a losing record of 4-5. As for O'Farrell Charter, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: El Camino has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 25.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like O'Farrell Charter struggles in that department as they've been averaging 22 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
El Camino took their victory against O'Farrell Charter in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 39-18 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
