Walsh extended the longest winning streak in A-8 South - Arkansas Valley (8 Man) this week by beating Springfield, 42-32. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Granada was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after defeating Holly. The Bobcats came in at 24 in the state poll after placing at number 28 last week.
The Wildcats' Christian Orozco and Colby Salisbury have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Orozco has thrown for 484 yards this season, while Salisbury, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 24 catches for 242 yards. Kody Wallace from Wiley leads the league in rushing with 536 yards.
