It was a good run, but the HomeSchool Resource Center Patriots unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 66-54 to Christian Liberty. HomeSchool Resource Center was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Christian Liberty apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Several Patriots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Edrick Jefferson, who scored 14 points along with six blocks and five rebounds. Jefferson has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last 11 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Baldridge, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
HomeSchool Resource Center's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Christian Liberty, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Agape Christian the next time they take the court. HomeSchool Resource Center will head out to face Agape Christian at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, while Christian Liberty will head out to face them at 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
