Meanwhile, Dunbar can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 73-31 victory over Kennedy. Given Dunbar's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 230th, while Kennedy is ranked 528th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Hubbard's win ended a eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8. As for Dunbar, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-6.
