Basketball Recap: Rossville Christian Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Rossville Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 64-59 W against Memphis Home Education Association. For the Wolves, this counts as revenge for the 65-51 win Memphis Home Education Association walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rossville Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Micah Brooks, who shot 63% from the field to rack up 12 points and three steals. That's the most points Brooks has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylan Alexander, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 13 points and seven boards.

Rossville Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Memphis Home Education Association, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Rossville Christian Academy will venture away from home to face off against West Memphis Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wolves will be up against the Black Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 63.25 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Memphis Home Education Association, they will face off against Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on December 5.
