The Stanton County Trojans stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Wallace County 69-35 at home. Winning may never get old, but Stanton County sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Alvin Solis was nothing short of spectacular: he scored 13 points along with three steals. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. David Crane was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Stanton County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Wallace County, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
Stanton County will be playing at home against the Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Springfield's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matchups. As for Wallace County, they will head out on the road to square off against the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
