With a playoff game on the line, Saint Andrew's rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Owls 82-34 at home. Saint Andrew's has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 21 points or more this season.
Brooklyn Vick was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with eight assists and six steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. Another player making a difference was Alex Montes, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Katz Yeshiva proved they can win big back in January (they won by 26) but on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Somerset Prep and snuck past 52-50. The win made it back-to-back wins for Katz Yeshiva.
Saint Andrew's is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for Katz Yeshiva, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-6.
