The Mount Calvary Christian Chargers's game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They took down New Covenant Christian 62-45. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Mount Calvary Christian also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
It was another big night for Avery Kopcha, who scored 30 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Trey Robinson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Mount Calvary Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for New Covenant Christian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6.
Mount Calvary Christian will take on Harrisburg Christian at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. As for New Covenant Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Covenant Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Covenant Christian Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
