It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Hunt had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eastern Alamance Eagles, sneaking past 30-28. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 48-14 loss the last time these two teams met.
Leading Hunt to victory were Doryan Jones and Mez Harris. Jones rushed for 125 yards and one TD, while Harris rushed for 55 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven carries. Harris got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 62 yards. Hunt also relied on Jake Harris, who's 47-yard boot wound up being the difference in the game.
