Roxana's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Sean Maberry, who went 9-for-13 en route to 22 points, and Aiden Stemm, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 12 boards. Stemm has also also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 54% every time he's hit the court this season. Cohen Dugan was another key player, putting up five points and five steals.
Roxana was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Southwestern only racked up five.
Meanwhile, Freeburg scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against Marion, falling 78-57. The Midgets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Freeburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Roxana, their record now sits at 6-1.
