The Berwick Bulldogs will challenge the Valley View Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Berwick comes in on 13 and Valley View on five.
Last Thursday, Berwick got the win against Pittston by a conclusive 3-0.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Berwick was: they took every set by at least 16 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-4, 25-9.

Berwick's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Julia Rauch, who had 28 assists and eight digs, and Angie Colone, who had 11 kills and ten digs. Colone has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 33 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Brylee Weaver, who had six aces and three digs.
Berwick was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in ten consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Valley View sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Montrose on Tuesday.
It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Valley View got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-17, 24-26, 26-24, 25-27, 17-15.
Berwick better keep an eye on Layla Marino. She was instrumental in Valley View's win, getting 15 digs, 13 kills, and six aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Hallock, who had ten digs and four aces.
Valley View's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Berwick, their win bumped their record up to 15-1.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's match: Berwick hasn't let much over the net this season, having averaged 4.1 blocks per game. However, it's not like Valley View struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 10.4 blocks.
