The Hamilton Braves will face off against the Mt. Shasta Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hamilton is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Hamilton barely beat Biggs the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Braves put the hurt on the Wolverines with a sharp 24-0 victory on Friday. Fans of the Braves have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Kayden Strong continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 83 yards and two TDs on only ten carries, while also throwing for 201 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 77.3% of his passes. Case Porter was in the mix as well, providing Hamilton with two scores.
Hamilton's run defense was locked in: Biggs could only muster 2.6 yards per carry. The team can thank Sebastian Oliva for the heroic effort on defense: he. The dominant display was nothing new: Hamilton has now limited their opponent to fewer and fewer yards per carry in three consecutive matchups.
Hamilton's defense didn't let the opposing QB, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for four sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Adam Simson, Cesar Leal, and Jerret King, who each picked up one sack apiece.
Meanwhile, Mt. Shasta entered their game against Fall River on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bears might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 28-24 to the Bulldogs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Bears gained 117 more yards on the day, but it was the Bulldogs that made the best use of them.
Hamilton will have to keep a close watch on Noah Yegar and Nick Mangrum, a pair of players who had a big impact on Mt. Shasta's prior game. Yegar threw for 119 yards and three TDs on only ten passes, while Mangrum picked up 74 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.
The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 5-5. As for Hamilton, their record is now 10-0.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Hamilton has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 199.1 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Mt. Shasta struggles in that department as they've been averaging 182.5 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Hamilton against Mt. Shasta when the teams last played back in October of 2023, as the squad secured a 48-6 win. Will the Braves repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
