Leesville won the last time they faced Washington-Marion and Grant Braxton did his part to make sure it happened again. The Wampus Cats strolled past the Charging Indians with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 47-28 with plenty of help from Braxton, who rushed for 260 yards and three scores while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. Leesville is 3-1 when Braxton posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 0-4 otherwise.
Michael Davis Jr was another key player, picking up 105 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 65 yards.

That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 3-5 Washington-Marion and 3-4 DeRidder. As for Washington-Marion, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 3-5.
