Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Lucai Anderson and Jet Naegele

After a string of three wins, the Lions's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 66-61 to the Trinity Christian Trojans.

The Lions' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jet Naegele, who went 7-for-12 to rack up 18 points and six rebounds, and Lucai Anderson, who posted 20 points. Anderson's afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 20 points. Beckett McCasland was another key player, putting up eight points.

The Lions' loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for the Trojans, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Trinity Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 73-53 victory against Prestonwood Christian on the 6th. As for the Trojans, they have also already played their next game, a 75-41 defeat against the Lions on the 6th.
