Football Recap: Waupun Skates Past Mauston with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Waupun). They claimed a resounding 62-8 victory over the Mauston Golden Eagles. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 24 points or more this season.

Waupun's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.3 points on average over those games. As for Mauston, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
