Laney's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tyjhere Crudup, who rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns. Crudup is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hampton Roderick, who picked up 155 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Apex Friendship's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Laney, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2.
