This season hasn't been kind to the Lewiston Tigers, who are still winless after their sixth match. They had to suffer through a rough 59-15 loss at the hands of Diller-Odell. Lewiston was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-4.
Justice Currie was Lewiston's leading scorer, having posted 11 points. Currie also led the team in rebounds with three.
Maddie Janssen took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with an assist.
Leading Diller-Odell to victory were Myleigh Weers and Aidan Mckinney. Weers scored 11 points, while Mckinney scored 13 points. The contest was Weers' sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenzie Strein, who scored seven points.
Lewiston's loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-6. As for Diller-Odell, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
Lewiston will head out on the road to face off against Parkview Christian on Monday. Parkview Christian is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Diller-Odell will be home for the holidays to greet Fairbury at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Fairbury focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Tuesday.
