Despite the loss, Vine Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Keniel Velez, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 12 rebounds. That was a full 46.3% of Vine Christian Academy's points, marking the 14th time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Ektor Vazquez, who scored four points along with four steals.
The Rock has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. As for Vine Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-11.
