Basketball Recap: Kimberton Waldorf's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Kimberton Waldorf had won six straight games and Franklin Matichak did his part to make it seven on Monday. The Kimberton Waldorf Bulls walked away with a 60-49 win over The City School Lions thanks in part to Matichak, who went 8 of 12 on his way to 20 points and five rebounds. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Kimberton Waldorf pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for The City School, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Kimberton Waldorf will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Kohelet Yeshiva at 5:30 p.m. As for The City School, they and Foundation Collegiate Academy will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
