Across the nation, high school athletes of all grade classifications are preparing for what many hope to be a magical season. One of the many immensely talented California teams entering the 2016 schedule with high hopes is Colony (Ontario, Calif.). One of the players ready to start separating himself from his peer group from raw potential to dynamic playmaker is Michael Ezeike.

Ezeike received some playing time during his sophomore season at both wide receiver and cornerback. Playing wide receiver may still be in the cards but the budding talent has essentially outgrown playing corner. The now 6-foot-5 and 210 pounds, the Ontario-area product could end up being a defensive end or linebacker on the other side of the ball as his body continues to develop.

Ezeike caught our eye during an Airo Nation 7v7 tournament at Redondo Union High School. The next level eye spotting Ezeike's potential talent includes Michigan, Arizona State and Southern Utah among others.
