Jaden Haywood Delivers Best Performance of Season
Jaden Haywood produced his most outstanding game to date while leading East Hamilton to the win on Friday. Haywood wasn't messing around, rushing for 333 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per carry. The matchup was his fifth straight with two or more rushing touchdowns. His longest rush was for an incredible 93 yards.
The victory (which was East Hamilton's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Haywood and East Hamilton will square off against Walker Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Caleb Carr Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Sadly, Caleb Carr posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Rhea County over McMinn County on Friday. Carr rushed for 54 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 97 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
On the season, Carr has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 114.8 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 61.83 passing yards per game.

Mcmillon Posts Huge Game in 42-7 Loss
Asa McMillon continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his tenth-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 11 total tackles. He made 15 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Ooltewah is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7. It'll be Battle of the Birds when Owls takes on Rhea County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jackson Montgomery Turns in Season-Best Effort
Jackson Montgomery produced his most outstanding game to date while leading McMinn County to the win on Friday. Montgomery made 13 total tackles (4.0 for loss).
Rhea County's probably not too fond of Montgomery given he always seems to get the better of them. Montgomery picked up a sack and made 14 total tackles the last time he and the Golden Eagles duked it out back in September of 2023.
