Pueblo has struggled against Rincon/University recently, as their contest on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Pueblo lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jorge Franco. Despite the final result, he scored ten points along with nine rebounds. Franco is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of David Hernandez, who scored nine points.
Pueblo has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for Rincon/University, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.
