After having lost a blowout in their previous game against NC GBB Academy, Heritage Leadership Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 62-53 victory over the Durham Charter Lions. The Fletchers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Heritage Leadership Academy was led to victory by Eli Huston and Jacob Peterson. Huston dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds, while Peterson went 6-for-11 en route to 18 points. What's more, Huston also posted an 88% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in November of 2024. Jacob Winders was another key player, putting up seven points and five boards.
