Football Recap: Coyle Wins Going Away Against Copan

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Coyle had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Copan Hornets 42-18. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bluejackets also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

Coyle pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.0 points over those games. As for Copan, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3.

Coming up, Coyle will square off against Seiling at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bluejackets will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. Copan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
