The Tumwater Thunderbirds won the last time they faced the WF West Bearcats, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Tumwater took down WF West 54-40. The win made it back-to-back wins for Tumwater.
It was another big night for Clay Morgan, who scored 21 points along with nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Morgan, who scored ten points along with two steals.
When it comes to explaining why WF West lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tyler Klatush. Despite the final result, he scored 11 points along with two steals and two blocks. That's the first time this season that Klatush posted two or more blocks. Parker Eiswald was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds.
Tumwater's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-6. As for WF West, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
Tumwater will head out on the road to challenge Adna at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for WF West, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against White River at 4:00 p.m. White River will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
