Basketball Recap: Mount Calvary Christian Extends Winning Streak to Three

Mount Calvary Christian entered their tilt with West Shore Christian Academy on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They strolled past West Shore Christian Academy with points to spare, taking the game 57-42. This was payback for the Chargers, who suffered a 43-41 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mount Calvary Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trey Robinson, who posted 21 points. The match was Robinson's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Josiah Masters, who earned 19 points.

Mount Calvary Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for West Shore Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

After both having extra time off, Mount Calvary Christian and Harrisburg Christian will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Mount Calvary Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.1 points per game this season. As for West Shore Christian Academy, they and Greenwood will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
