Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Maclay). They took down the Central Hinds Academy Cougars 59-43 on Tuesday.

Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Junior Wilson, who posted 21 points. That was a full 48.8% of Central Hinds Academy's points, marking the sixth time in a row Wilson has had more than a third of the team's points. Mason Havard was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Maclay's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Central Hinds Academy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-5.
