After having lost a blowout to Walthill in their previous game, Dorchester was happy to find some success on Friday. Everything went Dorchester's way against St. Edward as they made off with a 48-26 win. The success represented a nice turnaround for Dorchester, who in their last game suffered a tough 0-73 loss.
Dorchester's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 16 points in the first half. St. Edward came up with 6 to make it 16-6 heading into the break. The offense for Dorchester continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 32 points. The victory bumped their record up to 0-1. The defeat dropped St. Edward's record to 0-1.
Dorchester will look to defend their home turf next week against Hampton at 7:00 PM. St. Edward have some extra time to regroup and restrategize before their next contest, which is against Wilcox-Hildreth at 7:00 PM in two weeks.
