Eastern won against Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering last Wednesday with 16 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. Everything went the Ramblers' way against the Woodson Warriors as they made off with a 16-0 win. Considering the Ramblers have won six contests by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Finnian Clapp was a standout: he scored three runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Joseph Foskett, who scored a run and stole five bases while going 2-for-2.

Eastern always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .769. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .583 or higher in four consecutive matchups.

Eastern's victory bumped their record up to 6-2-1. As for Woodson, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Eastern didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-3 win against Coolidge on the 4th. Woodson has also already played their next contest (against Jackson-Reed), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
