The Orestimba Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 72-53 win over Los Banos. The win was nothing new for Orestimba as they're now sitting on three straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Orestimba to victory, but perhaps none more so than Angel Reynoso, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Reynoso is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Caleb Marin dominguez, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.
Orestimba's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Los Banos, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
Orestimba and Hughson will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 18th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hughson will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Los Banos will be home for the holidays to greet Denair at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Denair focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday.
