Pine Forest gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They strolled past the South View Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 44-30. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 52-27 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

South View's loss came despite strong showings from London Brooks and Jeanelle Evans. Brooks posted 14 points, while Evans had six points and six rebounds.

Coincidentally, Pine Forest and South View will both be playing Gray's Creek the next time they take the court. The Trojans will head out to face the Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th.
