The biggest upset of the week belonged to Jackson, who took down 96th ranked Holt, 40-27.
The Vikings moved up to 293 from 330 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Capital Area - Blue. Jackson climbed the ranks as a result of defeating the Rams 40-27.
Holt's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Eric Potter threw for 154 yards and Romeell Dozier had 70 yards receiving. On the ground Ty Glover contributed 150 yards. Nick Bigelow helped Holt's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 72 yards.
Dozier was the best wideout in the league this week as Al Slamer's team lost to Scott Farley's team. Dozier racked up 4 receptions for 70 yards. Bigelow helped Holt's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 72 yards.
The Rams' Potter and Dozier have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Potter has thrown for 1,219 yards this season, while Dozier has 32 catches for 592 yards. East Lansing's MARQ ADAMS leads the league in rushing yards with 965.
The Trojans' ADAMS needs only 35 yards against Okemos next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 196 carries ADAMS has accumulated 965 yard this year.
A big matchup in Capital Area - Blue this week will be when Holt takes on Grand Ledge. The Rams are currently in third, while the Comets are in fourth.
Sexton extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Everett, 34-20. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Big Reds.
