Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Bishop Badgers, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They had to suffer through a rough 34-7 loss at the hands of Sinton. Bishop just can't catch a break and has now endured five losses in a row.
Rhyzaya Rodriguez was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 81 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also picked up 33 receiving yards. Jacoby James was in the mix too, providing Sinton with two touchdowns.
Bishop has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for Sinton, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-2-1.
Bishop does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sinton will face off against Lago Vista at TBD on Friday. Lago Vista is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
