Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Plainfield). They walked away with a 75-63 victory over the Highland Park Owls on Saturday. The win was some much needed relief for the Canucks as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

North Plainfield's victory ended an 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-4. As for Highland Park, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

North Plainfield will challenge J.P. Stevens at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. North Plainfield is facing J.P. Stevens at the right time seeing as J.P. Stevens is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Highland Park, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 68-57 loss against South River on the 30th.
