The Pueblo South Colts are taking a road trip to challenge the Pueblo Centennial Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pueblo South is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.

Pueblo South will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Pueblo East, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Colts came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 7-4 on Monday.

MJ Molina made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Molina was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March.

Molina wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Nolasco, who went 1-for-3 with two runs. That's the most runs Nolasco has posted since back in March.

Meanwhile, Pueblo Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 14-4 to Pueblo East.

Julian Rincon made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Pueblo South's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 12-5. As for Pueblo Centennial, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.

Pueblo Centennial's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Pueblo South hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .325. It's a different story for Pueblo Centennial, though, as they've only averaged .252. Will they be able to contain Pueblo South's hitters?

Everything went Pueblo South's way against Pueblo Centennial when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Pueblo South made off with an 11-0 victory. Do the Colts have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
