The Concord Christian Academy Minutemen won the last time they faced the Cumberland Christian Crusaders, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Concord Christian Academy breezed by Cumberland Christian on the road to the tune of 86-38.
Concord Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carlin Hollis - Homeschool, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Nakevis Walker - Homeschool was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six steals and five assists.
The victory got Concord Christian Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Cumberland Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Concord Christian Academy and Chestertown Christian Academy will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 6:15 p.m. on January 8, 2024. Cumberland Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on King's Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
