The Kell Longhorns will take on the Creekside Seminoles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Kell is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Cartersville 48-21. The win was familiar territory for the Longhorns, who have now won eight games in a row.

Kell's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Moonie Gipson, who rushed for 158 yards and a pair of scores, and also picked up 115 receiving yards and one TD. Gipson's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 158 rushing yards. Another signal caller making a difference was Kaleb Narcisse, who threw for 231 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Kell was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 347 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 218 rushing yards in six consecutive matchups.
Kell didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Michael Domanik and Brayden Rouse.
Meanwhile, Creekside's offense rose to the challenge against a Bulldogs defense that boasted an average of only 13 points allowed on Friday. The Seminoles blew past Lithonia 35-7. Given the Seminoles' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Bulldogs are ranked 63rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kell better focus on containing Gary Walker and Ced Kelley as the pair were huge in Creekside's win. Walker rushed for 129 yards and a pair of scores, while Kelley rushed for 103 yards and one TD on only ten carries.
Creekside's defense made their presence known, laying out Jamon Coggins four times. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece. Amarion Jones got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Kell's record now sits at 11-2. As for Creekside, their record is now 13-0.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Kell has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 251.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Creekside struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 228.8 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Kell couldn't quite get it done against Creekside in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 as they fell 42-35. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Seminoles' Cayden Benson, who rushed for 165 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, and also threw for 157 yards and three TDs while completing 78.9% of his passes. Now that the Longhorns know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
