The Mogadore Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. Everything went their way against Windham as Mogadore made off with a 59-35 victory. That 24 point margin sets a new team best for Mogadore this season.
Mogadore got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Amelia Morris out in front who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds. Morris is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games she's played. Brooklyn Mcintyre was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with six rebounds.
Mogadore has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season. As for Windham, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mogadore will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st. Hopefully Aquinas focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 on Monday. As for Windham, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on January 30th. The timing isn't great for Chalker: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while the Bombers have snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
