Basketball Recap: Knowledge Academies Skates Past Republic with Ease

Knowledge Academies not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since December 9, 2024 (when they won 80-16). They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat RePublic 72-45. Knowledge Academies has beaten RePublic the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest RePublic has come to flipping the script.

Travis Campbell had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double with 24 points and 13 rebounds. Those 13 boards gave him a new career-high. Elijah Anderson was another key player, putting up ten points.

Several RePublic players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gracien Niyonzima, who posted 17 points along with five rebounds and four blocks. Another player making a difference was Jamal Morris, who had 12 points.

Knowledge Academies' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for RePublic, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Knowledge Academies didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-48 victory against Lighthouse Christian on the 3rd. As for RePublic, they have also already played their next matchup, a 79-42 defeat against Westmoreland on the 5th.
