West Jordan has gone a perfect 9-0 against Granger recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Jaguars will challenge the Lancers at 3:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (West Jordan has four straight victories, Granger has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Friday, West Jordan made easy work of Hunter and carried off a 13-2 win. That's two games straight that the Jaguars have won by exactly 11 runs.

Bryn Gibson and Brock Litchfield were major factors while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Gibson struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). Meanwhile, Litchfield pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Gibson also tossed a walk, which is notable because West Jordan is undefeated when he allows at most two walks, but 3-7 otherwise. At bat, Gibson went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI, while Litchfield went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Cody Johnson was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2025. Riley Holmquist also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Meanwhile, Granger came up short against Hillcrest on Wednesday and fell 7-4.
Quinton Owens made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Max Pace was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Granger's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for West Jordan, their record now sits at 6-7.
Everything went West Jordan's way against Granger when the teams last played back in April of 2025, as West Jordan made off with a 12-5 victory. Will the Jaguars repeat their success, or do the Lancers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
