Heritage Hills barely beat Southridge the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Patriots put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 12-6 victory on Tuesday. Considering the Patriots have won 12 contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Francicso Mendoza, who went 4-for-5 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Peyton Gray, who went 2-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

Heritage Hills was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They are a perfect 15-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The win (which was Heritage Hills' fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-4. As for Southridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-6 record this season.

Heritage Hills didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Princeton on the 14th. As for Southridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-0 win against Mt. Vernon on the 14th.
