Vacaville Christian and Golden Sierra are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2021, but likely not for long. The Falcons will venture away from home to square off against the Grizzlies at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Vacaville Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.
On Thursday, Vacaville Christian made easy work of Highlands and carried off a 20-5 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Hailey Hulsey made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in five of her six plate appearances with four runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
In other pitching news, Alivia Timm looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (three).
Back at the plate, Elena Vizcay was incredible, going a perfect 5-for-5 with six runs, two stolen bases, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Daisy Stafford, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Vacaville Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Golden Sierra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 12-4 to Woodland Christian.
Vacaville Christian's record now sits at 4-8. As for Golden Sierra, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
Vacaville Christian suffered a grim 13-3 defeat to Golden Sierra in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
