Academy of Richmond County's rock-solid defense showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. They never let the Cross Creek Razorbacks get on the board and left with a 25-0 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Musketeers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia flag football rankings (they are ranked 128th, while the Razorbacks are ranked 269th).

Kimauri Jackson threw for 96 yards and two TDs on only nine passes. Omaria Legette was her top target, picking up 60 receiving yards and one score.

Academy of Richmond County is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 3.9 points on average over those games. As for Cross Creek, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Academy of Richmond County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 27-0 win against Josey on the 4th. As for Cross Creek, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-0 defeat against Hephzibah on the 4th.
