The Riverdale Ridge Ravens can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They blew past Thompson Valley 83-26 at home. The victory was familiar territory for Riverdale Ridge who now have five in a row.
Riverdale Ridge found their leader in underclassman Brihanna Crittendon, who scored 42 points along with eight steals and six rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Crittendon has scored at least a third of Riverdale Ridge's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklynn Charlo, who scored 25 points along with seven steals.
Despite the loss, Thompson Valley still got an impressive performance from Hannah Blais, who scored five points.
Riverdale Ridge pushed their record up to 7-2 with that win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 43.09 points. As for Thompson Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverdale Ridge will play host again and welcome Frederick, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thompson Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Niwot at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Niwot will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while Thompson Valley is ranked 97th).
