Leading Mater Academy Charter to victory were Aaron Arroyo and Solomon Leinbock. Arroyo scored 11 points along with six assists and five steals, while Leinbock scored 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Arroyo has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Valencia, who scored 11 points.
Mater Academy Charter has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Mater Brickell Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
