Sevier County had lost seven straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 9-11 to make it eight. They lost 11-1 to the Jefferson County Patriots. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Carr has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was his first of the season.
