Williams Valley (Tower City, Pa.) captured the lead in the fourth quarter and held on for a 26-7 victory over
Upper Dauphin Area (Elizabethville, Pa.) on Saturday. The Vikings took the lead for good when
Cole Barnhardt ran for a touchdown.
The two teams were tied at six heading into halftime. The Vikings took the lead indefinitely on a Barnhardt touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
Upper Dauphin Area's only touchdown came on a 10-yard run by
Tanner Miller in the second quarter.
A 38-0 Williams Valley victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
Williams Valley (2-0) will play a Tri-Valley game against Millersburg next week, while Upper Dauphin Area (0-2) will take on Halifax also in a Tri-Valley game.
