The Broughton Capitals lost against the Jordan Falcons back in December of 2015, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Broughton fell just short of Jordan by a score of 42-40. Broughton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Broughton saw an underclassman step up: Kendall Walpole scored 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Kalajah Wright, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Broughton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Jordan, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
Broughton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wakefield at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Jordan is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Durham School of the Arts at 3:00 p.m. on December 26th. Durham School of the Arts is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
