Belen's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaelynn Bob, who scored eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jadarose Wright, who scored eight points.
Belen has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for St. Pius X, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-3.

As for St. Pius X, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grants at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Grants is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
