Calvary Christian Academy added to the longest winning streak in Southeastern - North this week by beating Pope John Paul II, 37-0. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Eagles.
Calvary Christian Academy scaled the state rankings by moving to 228 from 260 this week, the biggest jump in the league. Kirk Hoza's team climbed the ranks as a result of topping the Eagles 37-0.
Jordan Watkins threw for 308 yards and 2 touchdowns. He went 22-29 with 0 interceptions.
Greg Green was the best running back in the league this week. In 8 carries, he ran for 106 yards as John Carroll Catholic fell to Benjamin. Teammate Daryl Norwood added to the ground attack by rushing for 41 yards.
6-foot-1 quarterback Watkins of the Rams is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,832. He has also thrown 20 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Bargas. The St. Andrew's star has 46 catches for 799 yards.
An important game coming up in Southeastern - North this week will be when Pine Crest takes on Pompano Beach. The Panthers are currently in seventh, while the Golden Tornadoes are in sixth.
Pompano Beach fell to Coral Springs Charter 76-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
